Logitech Cordless Laser MX1100 Deal $35

Better hurry, offer is good until Saturday at your local Best Buy store (it is now back-ordered for online, in-store pickup is your best bet).  I found out about this last night, verified it just now. Logitech MX1100 Cordless Laser for $34.99 in store pickup.

MX1100 Cordless Laser Mouse has a retail price of $79, otherwise around $59 online is considered a high end performance mouse, this sale is for brand new units so it ain't one of them Logitech Dented Box deals.  It's got adjustable DPI settings up to 1600dpi and 10 programmable buttons with a battery life well over 6 months.  I use one for work (I paid out of my own pocket just because I love it so much).  This is a great mouse for gadget fans as well as bloggers.  If you are still using a corded laser mouse, run to your local Best Buy now!

Costco getting in the Unlocked Cell Phone Biz?

Just noticed an offering from a Costco email tonight, apparently they've started to sell unlocked Nokia smartphones. Clicking through the email link, the page pulled up four smartphones:

E63 ($229)
The deals are not bad but certainly not the best price we've seen.

Buy a Mac and Score a Free iPod Touch 8GB

Some of you lucky kids (or grown ups with a student ID) out there will be taking advantage of this sweet offer as yours truly have already exhausted his allowance last September on his slightly out-dated MacBook Pro 2.4GHz and have gotten a 2nd Gen iPod Nano which he has already sold on eBay to help him fund his slightly out-dated technology. So I digress...

Apple Education Store just launched its famous "Back to School" program. You can now get a rebate for a $299 iPod Touch if you buy a qualified iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air between June 3 to Sept 15, 2008. For the money, a White 2.4GHz MacBook is probably the sweetest laptop in its price range, throw in the iPod Touch 8GB just makes this deal that much sweeter. To think current MacBooks w/ 2.4GHz can run neck to neck with my MBP is just something that makes me both happy and sad at the same time.
