In a fight in which Sony Ericcsson refuses to give up, here comes the latest edition of the Walkman phone dubbed W995a. Available today as Pre-Order and on sale at Sony Style stores by 6/6/09 (just to meddle with the Palm Pre launch), the new W995a is going after entertainment/multimedia/photography. An interesting thing to point out is Sony's effort in selling unlcoked (non-carrier tied) phones moving forward. This particular phone can be had for $599 and you can use with any GSM carrier of your choice. Before you decide on that new Palm Pre, it could hurt to drop by your local Sony Style store for a quick look on that big 6/6/2009!
