Acer beTouch E140 new Android phone

recently Acer launched couple of phones and it appears they were succeed. in 2010 December they released another mobile phone which runs Androis 2.2 OS. unlike their previous phone Liquid metal , this seems a mid range cheap phone. it has a 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen and the screen resolution of this phone is 240 x 320 pixels. since the touchscreen is resistive type, multi-touch is not available. also you might not be able to enjoy the all fancy features of android OS.
Acer beTouch E140 has 512MB internal memory and supports up to 32GB memory cards. it has a 7.2 HSDPA modem and has both bluetooth and wifi. Acer beTouch E140 has 3.15Mp camera and it supports video recording. but there is no secondary camera in this phone. but this phone has good navigation features. it has a digital compass and a GPS receiver. it also comes with lots of pre installed android apps.

Acer Liquid Metal new phone with Dolby Mobile sounds

As you know, Acer is a computer manufacturer, not a famous mobile phone manufacturer. but they have launched couple of mobile phone models. some are popular, some are not. they recently announced a newest mobile, Acer Liquid Metal. it's an Android smart phone which has a 3.6 inches capacitive touchscreen. the screen resolution is 480 x 800 pixels. Acer has developed a very nice UI called Acer UI 4.0 Breeze for this phone.
Acer Liquid Metal has Dolby Mobile sound enhancement feature which gives excellent sound output. it also has a 3.5mm audio jack so you can use any standard headphone. the internal memory of this phone is 512MB and it supports up to 32GB memory cards. this phone powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7230 800 MHz processor and a 512MB RAM. Acer Liquid Metal has a 5Mp camera with a LED flash. the camera application supports Geo-tagging, face and smile detection and image stabilization features.
in communication , this phone has a 14.4MBP/s HSDPA modem, a HSUPA modem and wi-fi and bluetooth. Acer Liquid Metal has a GPS receiver with A-GPS support. it has 2 mics to cancel the noise. this phone also comes with lots of applications for social networking and view documents.

Google's Android OS for smartphones is finally getting ready for a full blast. You can now consider T-Mobile's G1 and MyTouch3G as a soft launch pad as Verizon's involvement and some heavy hitting manufactures are lining up with some big hits to come: (lots of links, you've been warned!)

Verizon: Incase you've been hiding in a cave somewhere, the whole "Droid" campaign is really a whole series of Android phones that is about to arrive. You've got atleast two phones in the "Droid" series Sholes by Motorola and Eris (aka HTC Desire) coming very soon. Lets not forget Sprint has got a set or two running Android while old T-Mobile will be up to its third Android handset (G1, MyTouch3G and Pulse) and a limited edition MyTouch3G Fender edition w/ 3.5mm headphone jack!

Motorola's entire survival strategy is pegged against mobile. You've got: Sholes, Zeppelin, Cliq, Motus?, Calgary, and Morrison.

HTC is of course no slouch with its smartphone efforts, already with G1, Hero, Tattoo, Hero (Sprint version) and MyTouch3G out and about, they've got Eris, Desire, Dragon, Pulse and probably a whole lot more coming your way.

Samsung is not going to hold back either, with i7500/Galaxy, Behold II, and Moment added to its lineup.

Asus will launch an Android phone before the year is over while Sony's rumored Xperia X3 will also be running Android. Acer decides to join the Android party with Liquid.

Remember that old prediction I've made about Google Android to dominate mobile space, looks like its happening right before us!

Acer F900 hits UK

Acer's F900 smartphone that was anounced back in February has finally been released. It is now available in the UK, unlocked, at £429 ($709), and packs the following features: * Windows Mobile 6.1 (can be upgraded to 6.5); * 3.8" WVGA touchscreen; * HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity; * GPS; * 3Mpix camera; * Acer’s new 2.0 User Interface; * Internet Explorer 6 with Adobe Flash Lite

Acer F900 new touchscreen PDA Smartphone

I think all of you know about Acer. Acer is most popular brand for laptops and computer related electronic devices. but they also manufactures mobile phones. in 2009 February Acer announced about their newest phone Acer F900.
this phone is bit large because it has 3.8 inch large touch screen. the UI of this phone is widget based. that means, you can insert any widget to F900's interface,touch them to active. the touchscreen also supports Handwriting recognition feature.
Acer F900 runs with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. it have very powerful hardware to run this OS properly. processor is Samsung S3C 6410 533 MHz and RAM is 256Mb. the internal memory of this phone is 250Mb and it supports up to 16GB micro SD memory cards.
F900 allows 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity and 2Mbps HSUPA connectivity. also it has wi-fi and bluetooth.
Acer F900 has mini USB port and 3.5mm audio jack. the main camera is 3.15Mp and it comes with a LED flash. it has full featured GPS receiver with A-GPS support. F900 has many office features. the pocket office application allows you to open and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF files.
