Verizon Launches Trade-In Program

Following up, Verizon has launched a phone trade in program for those customers interested in discounting their next purchase from the carrier. The program appraises devices based on make and model as well as condition while offering the option to donate to the HopeLine program.  Verizon also provides the necessary shipping materials for the trade-in and the devices do not have to be from Verizon

Verizon Launches Droid2 R2-D2 Edition

Verizon has launched the limited edition R2-D2 edition Droid 2 online and via select retail stores.  The device is functionally identical to the Droid 2 with the exception of the bodyshell design molded to resemble the famous droid from the Star Wars film franchise along with custom media on the phone and a bundled custom desktop dock/charger.  The device is also being sold for a $150 premium

MetroPCS Launches LTE in Dallas-Ft. Worth

Following the launch of LTE in Las Vegas last week, MetroPCS has launched LTE service in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.  The service was originally intended to launch simultaneously with the Las Vegas market last week, but was delayed due to issues.  The Samsung Craft is now available online and via retail stores for $349.99 before an additional $50, bringing the total to $299.99.Via Mobile News
