Video Recorder Interface Found Hidden in iPhone 3.0 Firmware
Not activated by default, an interface with video recording option has been found in the latest iPhone 3.0 beta firmware. Apple Releases iPhone Firmware 2.2, Adds Google Street View and other Improvements

Beta Release of iPhone 2.2 Firmware
According to numerous accounts Apple has released the Beta 1 of the iPhone 2.2 firmware to developers for testing. The new version is accompanied by a beta for the new iPhone SDK (build 9M2611). It is still unclear what the new firmware will offer. iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 Available
Last night, iPhone firmware version 1.1.2 became available. Though available for download here, the firmware is still not available via the iTunes auto-update feature. Strangely, however, if performing a restore on your iPhone via iTunes, iTunes will download and install the 1.1.2 firmware. Clearly it is only a matter of time, likely within the next few hours, before 1.1.2 is fully integrated
