Nokia 7710 is a unusual phone




The 7710 is based on the Nokia 7700 which was never released. It is Nokia's first, and so far only, smartphone to run the Series 90 GUI atop the Symbian OS.
Compatible with GSM/HSCSD/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz networks, the 7710 features a wide, touch-screen colour LCD with a resolution of 640 x 320 pixels and 16-bit colour depth, which also boasts a special power save mode activating only 640 x 64 pixels of the display. It has 90 MB of internal memory supported by a 128 MB MultiMedia Card (MMC). The external memory can be upgraded up to 2GB.
Featuring an integrated Megapixel camera with a maximum resolution of 1152 x 864 pixels and 2x digital zoom, the 7710 also has an integrated FM radio, as well as Bluetooth, USB and Nokia's proprietary Pop-Port interface for connectivity purposes.
Offering a broad range of software, the 7710 includes much of the application suite to be found in the Series 80-based Nokia 9300 and 9500 communicators, such as a complete PIM suite; an XHTML compatible Internet browser with Flash 6.0 Support; e-mail client supporting SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4; an office suite comprising Word Processor, Spread-Sheet and a PowerPoint viewer; timed profiles; SIP VoIP support and more. In addition, the 7710 also supports Java MIDP 2.0 applications.
Moreover, the Nokia 7710 also offers multiple-format video recording courtesy of its integrated digital camera, supporting QCIF resolution at 17 FPS in MPEG4, H.263 and Real Video 8 formats - for which the device also supports full-screen playback at 15 FPS. Additionally, a music player supports MP3, AAC, RealAudio 7 and 8, WAV, MIDI and AMR formats, whilst picture viewing is also in place with support for JPEG, GIF, WBMP, BMP, MBM and PNG formats.

Sony Ericsson G700i with symbian OS




The G700i is another latest Sony Ericsson phone which has many specifications. Manly unlike many other SE phones, it runs with symbian OS. And it is a 3G smart phone.
The Sony Ericsson G700i is a sophisticated 3G Smartphone which comes in a solid candy bar shaped casing. The casing is available in a distinctive silk bronze coloured casing which makes this handset look classy & rich in design. The casing is easy to carry & use which measures 13mm in depth, 106mm in height & 49mm in width. It weighs 99 grams including the fitted battery which is lightweight for a 3G Smartphone with all its capabilities. The front of the G700i is dominated by its 2.4 Inch touch screen which displays up to 262k colours with a screen resolution of 240 by 320 pixels.
G700i’s display is special because it’s a touch sensitive one. But G700i has a keypad also. This 2.4 inch TFT screen supports 240 x 320 Pixels resolution. As mentioned earlier G700 is a 3G phone. But HSDPA technology is not available. But the internet speed is quite good because of EDGE technology. They have designed G700i’s web browser with many business features.
Sony Ericsson G700i has a quality 3.2Mp camera. It supports 3X digital zoom and a flash light included. The media player is very attractive one. You can control it easily with touch screen.

Nokia N85 with A-GPS and 5Mp camera and FM transmitter



Nokia N85 is the one of latest phone in Nokia N-range. The N85 boasts the usual impressive Nseries specification list: 5 megapixel camera (with dual LED flash and lens cover), integrated GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, FM transmitter and TV-out.
The N85 follows the design language of the N96 and N78 with the 3D 'adzed' plastic on the back of the device, the hard silver / grey plastics on the side of the device and a predominantly flat, black and shiny plastic on the front of the device. It also has the hidden-till-lit control key cluster design, made from a single piece of plastic, but with each key having its own key dome.
The new N85 has 2.6 inch OLED display. It will give you very clear and natural pictures. The N85 is the first Nokia S60 model to support USB charging and the first Nokia device to support simultaneous charging and data transfer. The microUSB (Hi-Speed USB 2.0) connector is also used for PC connectivity, media sync, printing and USB mass storage (client). The N85 does not have a 2mm power port, instead a microUSB charger (Nokia AC-10) will be provided.
Like many recent N-series phones, N85 has 5Mp camera. But unlike N95 or N96, N85 has a cover for protect camera. And a dual LED flash included. Another newest feature is the FM transmitter.
The 3.5mm stereo headphone jack is also used for TV-out and it has a A-GPS navigator and Nokia maps application.

At the history nokia has launched many navigation devices. this one is their latest one with many more features.The N500 boasts a 4.3-inch color touch-screen display and a built-in speaker for giving turn-by-turn voice guidance; the system also features text-to-speech technology for reading out the names of individual streets. An integrated FM transmitter allows drivers to stream spoken directions via their car speakers. Being a Nokia device, the N500 naturally comes with cell phone compatibility and can be used as a hands-free Bluetooth calling device.
