Microsoft isn't about to take the video game war lying down. With the PS3 80GB Classic and the hot new PS3 Slim 120GB coming out with a price reduction down to $299, the XBOX camp is throwing you the Elite edition for a price cut of $299. While the good 'ole XBOX can't playback the Blu Ray discs, having Netflix streaming is a very nice plus+

Amazon takes PS3 Slim Pre-Order

If you can't wait much longer, Amazon is now taking pre-orders of the new slim 120GB PS3. According to a highly possible rumor, they will likely to ship these new PS3s a few days earlier on 8/26 than the previously noted 9/11/2009 release date. Happy gaming!
