Jitterbug - Easy Emergency Cell Phones
So I saw a commercial on CNBC this morning about a MVNO cell phone company called Jitterbug. Apparently, this company is catering towards older demographic where the phones (Samsung models, I believe) are customized with larger buttons or just speed-dial buttons for the senior audience. While their commercial (not actual audio, the closest I can find) appears to be more like this SNL skit, the concept is nothing new. On my last visit to Japan, I saw a number of handsets catered towards the seniors with larger buttons and bigger digit displays. See the photo caption provided.
