Review: Griffin Elan iPhone Holster, Professional Styled Case

The iPhone OS X has gradually becoming more professionally-driven while still being a very capable media phone. With the support of MS Office/PDF, enterprise email functionality and wireless connectivity, more people are switching from BlackBerry(s) to iPhones. iPhone accessories, however, have mostly been driven by the fun/cool/hip design around the hardware. In the event where you have to take your phone into a serious appointment, ie. job interview or meeting a big client for the first time, you want to make a professional statement about your appearance. That is where the Griffin Elan Holster comes in handy for the 1st generation iPhone.

The Griffin Elan Hoster is composed of a fine-grain leather finish, precisely constructed to hold your first gen. iPhone tightly in the sleeve. Included in the package is a cleaning cloth, a partial touchscreen film which covers the main part of the LCD screen and belt clip. When your iPhone is in the Holster, it provides ample protection. With the optional belt clip which will give the IT/Engineer professionals the ability to showcase their iPhone vertically or horizontally on their belt where their WM or BB device once was :) .

Peronally, I prefer hardcases permanently attached to my iPhone(s), such as the Griffin ClearBoost or Wave which provides full time protection. However, in special occassions where I would like to go for an elegant and professional appearance, the Griffin Elan Hoslter gives me the perfect companionship. The case MSRP is $32 but you can pick it up for $16.99 at Amazon.com.
