Dealers criticise Nokia for widespread problems on the N97 but manufacturer insists returns have been low
Dealers last week said the Nokia N97 was experiencing significant software issues, with the device freezing and switching off.
They also said it has a fundamental design fault, that the camera lens scratches when dust gets under the cleaning cloth on the protective slide.
Nokia said: "We’re not experiencing widespread returns or complaints and it is still creating a great buzz. The N97 has been through extensive testing. As with all Nseries devices software upgrades will continue to be available."
