Pocket Radar is a Symbian S60 5th edition app for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, X6, 5230, 5233, N97, N97 Mini and 5530 XpressMusic. The application measures the speed of anything that moves. This application present simple mathematics on a silver plate. No microphone or camera needed and you can measure the speed of objects on TV. Perfect for measuring speed of cars, baseballs, footballs or objects on TV.
The features of Pocket Radar are: km/h, mph, pitch counter, maximum, average speed and logg of last 10 recorded speeds. First you need to set the distance the object travels. To change the distance, simply press on the SET button and enter the distance. You can choose to show speed in either km/h or mph by tapping on any of them. If you choose km/h, distance is entered in meters and feet for mph. To measure the speed, just hold down the measuring button until the object has passed the configured distance.
Below the speed indicator there are PITCH, AVERAGE and MAX speed indicated. To reset any of these, simply tap on respective indicator. The PITCH counter is used in sports such as baseball and is a counter of how many times you have measured the speed. To show the last 10 recorded speeds, tap on the speed indicator. Tap the screen again to go back.
The application is developed by Pico Brothers, Ltd. The application is cool and provides nice and clean interface. The application is also available on Nokia's OVI store as a freeware. You can download it from here too. Following is the link to download.
