Schaumburg, Ill. - Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MOT) announced that its integrated Digital Enhanced Networks solution (iDEN) has reached 10 million subscribers outside the United States. With a strong and growing global presence, iDEN continues to be the leading, most efficient solution to deliver high-performance push-to-talk (PTT) services while also providing mobile telephony, messaging and Internet access.
Motorola’s proprietary iDEN technology is currently in operation with more than 30 network operators in 23 countries worldwide for the delivery of communications services. This recent milestone reinforces iDEN’s unique offerings in the wireless space, enabling the combination of two-way radio capabilities with cellular phone technology, data and paging in one subscriber device.
