TweetDeck for Android is arguably one of the most anticipated Android apps out there. We have long known that TweetDeck for Android in the works, but it seems the long wait for Tweetdeck’s release may soon be drawing to a close.
The TweetDeck Blog has announced that they are nearing completion of their TweetDeck Android client, and that a public beta will be available this week. Needless to say I, like you, am very excited for this release and have been (not-so) patiently awaiting this app ever since it was first announced.
TweetDeck is going to be a game-changer, as it will likely bring Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz, and perhaps FourSquare integration into a single Android application.
Do you think TweetDeck for Android will be enough to entice you to ditch the official Twitter and Facebook applications? Sound off in the comments.
Those who wish to take part in TweetDeck for Android’s public beta test this week should follow TweetDeck on Twitter, as well as keep up with the TweetDeck blog.
