Find the Resources You Need

Creating and delivering useful, compelling, or downright cool applications often requires more than insightful design and coding skills. There are business issues to consider. For example, what’s the best marketing strategy for an application? How best to monetize it? There are technology issues to consider too. What technologies are particularly useful in developing games? What frameworks are effective in creating applications in non-traditional ways? What tools make it easy to build an application that runs across different mobile platforms? Networks, social media, cloud computing, user interface design, … the list goes on, bring with them lots of issues too.

There are resources out there that can help resolve these issues, but collecting the information from “out there” can mean a lot of hunting and gathering.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a single place where you could find tools, services, and other resources than could help you design, build, and distribute your applications more efficiently and effectively?

Well, that’s the objective of the new Resources for Developers section in Developer World. There you’ll find a core collection of services in the following categories:

* Advisory Services
* Mobile Advertising, Marketing, and Analytics
* Billing-Related Services/Products
* Application Development
* Mobile Interface/GUI/UX
* Games and Gaming
* Real Time Application Middleware
* Mixed/Augmented Reality
* Push/Notification
* Network and Traffic
* Miscellaneous

Not only can you benefit from the list, but you can make it even better. Do you use a tool, service, or other type of resource that you find particularly helpful? If so, recommend it and the Developer World staff will add it to the Resources section.

Do you or your company build tools or offer services that are particularly helpful to developers? If so, recommend these resources and the Developer World staff will add them to the Resources section.

And of course, your feedback is always valuable.
