The Developer World team recently came back from the APPNATION 2010 Conference and Expo in San Francisco, CA, USA. The event held on Sept 13-14 brought together application developers, major media outlets, venture capitalists, advertisers and telecom executives to discuss best practices within the mobile marketplace. Drew Ianni, founder of the event, estimated over 1,000 people in attendance.
Sheana Hogan, Business Development Manager, and Joe Padre, Technical Editor, attended this inaugural event and reported back key learnings from the two days of keynote speaker presentations. In addition to attending the talks, Sheana also had meetings with a number of social networking, analytics, and media sharing companies from Silicon Valley. And you can read more about Joe’s observations and see more event photos on the Developer World blog at http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/developerworld/2010/09/21/prediction-at-appnation-2010-one-million-mobile-apps-available-for-download-by-2012/?utm_source=AppNation0910&utm_medium=Blog&utm_campaign=CBM
The Developer World team was pleased to be present at this exciting event because we’re always trying to stay on the pulse of the mobile industry. Look for us again at next year’s event, as well as at other conferences throughout the rest of 2010.
