NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced that business customers report the highest satisfaction with DOCOMO among mobile phone and PHS service providers for the second consecutive year, according to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2009-2010 Japan Business Mobile Phone Service StudiesSM.
Four factors were examined to determine business customers’ satisfaction with their mobile phone/PHS service provider; responsiveness of the sales contact, service content, service quality, and cost. DOCOMO scored the highest in all four factors. The study is based on responses from individuals responsible for supervising or deciding upon telephone services at businesses.
“We thank our customers for giving DOCOMO this recognition. DOCOMO’s broad variety of company-wide efforts have been aimed at gaining the highest level of satisfaction from customers in business and the general public. For all of those efforts, DOCOMO is honored to be recognized for the second year in a row,” said Akio Oshima, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Corporate Marketing Division.
Last year, DOCOMO scored highest in three of the four factors, but this year scored highest in all four factors since DOCOMO was also ranked top in terms of cost. This year, DOCOMO introduced a new service for business customers which streamlines the fee structures while also offering a larger discount rate.
