Rogers Wireless Sony Ericsson MD400g USB modem
Rogers Wireless Sony Ericsson MD400g USB modem
Canada’s Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless has a new USB modem in its offering. It’s the Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) MD400g, which aside from boasting an HSDPA, also comes with a GPS receiver and Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot. That said, this is probably one of the best such devices on the market, though I’ll pick microSD cards over Memory Sticks every day.
Rest of the features include auto-install and auto-configuration, built-in antenna, support for speeds of up to 7.2Mbps on the downlink and up to 2.0Mbps on the uplink. Rogers is giving the MD400g for free for all who are ready to sign 2 or 3 year agreement. Alternatively, you can grab the modem for CA$24.99 on a single year term, or for $174.99 on monthly term contract. More information is available from Rogers’ website.
