Samsung Solstice Announced for AT&T
Starting August 2nd., AT&T will be selling the Samsung Solstice, a full-touchscreen handset with that all-too-familiar TouchWiz user interface. The A887 comes with a 3″ screen, 2 megapixel camera, dual-band 3G, quad-band EDGE,and a virtual landscape QWERTY keypad. Preloaded software ranges the gamut of Facebook, MySpace and Yahoo widgets to Napster Mobile and the usual AT&T services. It’s not much, but a pretty good deal for $99.99 on a two-year contract - if this is your bag, it should be popping up on the AT&T online store soon, although I’m not sure why anyone would grab this over a refurb iPhone 3G…
