Ericsson's TV solutions are not only changing the television and electronic media industry – they are winning awards. The company's XPort Time-Shifted TV solution won the Best Content-on-Demand category at Cable and Satellite International (CSI) magazine's 2010 Product of the Year awards at the IBC broadcasting event in Amsterdam.
Ericsson also won the CSI magazine 2010 Product of the Year award for Best IPTV Technology or Service for its IPTV Remote, part of the Ericsson IPTV solution.
Staffan Pehrson, head of Ericsson's TV Solution Area, says the awards reflect the company's ability to deliver the TV experience that consumers want while providing operators with advanced technologies and solutions for the next generation of television.
Interviewed at IBC, Ericsson's Ove Anebygd, head of IPTV & Connected Home, and Lisa Skelton, Solutions Marketing, explain more about the winning products.
