* Orange simplifies home broadband and calling with the introduction of a new best value pricing structure
* New unlimited anytime international calling bundle and ‘Peace of Mind’ promise also unveiled
* The new price plans form the first part of significant broadband evolution plan for Orange’s home broadband service over the next 18 months
Orange announced a range of new home broadband price plans to offer Orange mobile customers the UK’s best value broadband and calls. The move is the first in a home broadband evolution roadmap planned for the service over the next 18 months under newly appointed Vice President of Home, Bruno Duarte.
Spread across three price plans, the new packages make it simple for UK consumers to choose a home broadband package that’s right for them – and rewards Orange mobile customers with the best value for their loyalty.
From 17th September, the following three home broadband packages will be available from Orange:
1. Broadband & Off Peak Calls
For just £7.50 per month1, Orange mobile customers will receive up to 20Meg speeds and inclusive2 evening and weekend landline calls3 - ideal for those who are away during the day and have limited need to use the home phone before 6pm.
2. Broadband & Anytime Calls
For just £10 per month1, Orange mobile customers will receive up to 20Meg speeds on their home broadband and inclusive2 anytime landline calls3 – offering the best value bundle on the market.
3. Simply Broadband
For customers who just want to take advantage of Orange’s up to 20Meg wireless broadband, then Simply Broadband is only £10 per month.
Customers taking Orange’s ‘Broadband & Off Peak Calls’ or Orange’s ‘Broadband & Anytime Calls’ package, can also benefit from unlimited international landline calls to over 30 countries for only an extra £4 per month4.
Additionally, Orange has also introduced a new ‘Peace of Mind’ promise for hassle free set up - promising all new customers will be up and running within 10 working days, and if they’re not, they can end their contract within the month without any charge.
Bruno Duarte, Vice President of Home said: “We’re rewarding our existing mobile customers by giving them the UK’s best value home broadband on the market. When combined with the network and service improvements we’ve already made, and the plans to evolve our service over the next 18 months – there’s never been a better time to be on Orange”.
The move follows news earlier this year to significantly change how Orange delivers home broadband in the UK, as well as a range of new improvements made to enhance the customer experience. As a result, Orange’s home broadband service has already been short listed in three categories at this year’s Top-10 Broadband Awards - which includes the award for Best Value Home Broadband.
Additional inclusive benefits with all home broadband packages include:
* Free online protection – McAfee Family Protection plus parental control
* Unlimited downloads – So customers can surf and email to their heart’s content
* Free wireless router – Customers get a free top of the range ‘N’ class wireless router for the best speeds and range
* No connection fees – All customers pay is the monthly charge and line rental, with no extra fees
Non Orange mobile customers can also benefit from the great new plans from just an extra £5 per month5. Orange’s new home broadband deals will be available from the 17th September. For more information please visit www.orange.co.uk
